Life skills are problem solving behaviors used appropriately and responsibly in the management of personal affairs. They are a set of human skills acquired via teaching or direct experience that are used to handle problems and questions commonly encountered in daily human life. 

A traveler came to Prophet Mohammad (s.a.w) when he was in Al-Masjid Al-Nabavi and asked few questions.

      1.      How will I break away from Gods punishments? The prophet (s.a.w) then replied, treat your parents humbly.

      2.      How will I be an intelligent and respected person in front of humanity? The Prophet (s.a.w) then replied fear God, remember God.

      3.      How will I be a recognized servant in front of God? The Prophet (s.a.w) then replied, recite Quran morning and evening.

      4.      How will I increase faith and spirituality in my heart? The Prophet (s.a.w) then replied, always remember of death.

      5.      I do not want to be distant from God, what shall I do? The Prophet (s.a.w) then replied, respect the servants of God.

      6.      How will I get protected from my enemies? The Prophet (s.a.w) then replied, have faith in God.

      7.      I do not want to be affronted and be a failure, what shall I do? The Prophet (s.a.w) then replied; perform your duties with honor and respect.

     

      8.      I want a long life in this world, what shall I do? The Prophet (s.a.w) then replied, respect and treat your relatives kindly.

      9.      How will I get God’s prosperity? The Prophet (s.a.w) then replied, always remain abluted.

      10.  How will I break away from the punishments in the graves? The Prophet (s.a.w) then replied, always to be clean.

      11.  I do not want to get burnt in hell, what shall I do? The Prophet (s.a.w) then replied, protect your eyes and tongue from evil deeds.

      12.  I want to get cleaned from all sins, what shall I do? The Prophet (s.a.w) then replied; sincerely ask for God’s forgiveness from all sins.

      13.  How will I get respect from others? The Prophet (s.a.w) then replied; do not beg in front of others.

      14.  How will I live in dignity? The Prophet (s.a.w) then replied, do not discriminate, harass and humiliate others.

      15.  How will I get a comfortable place inside the grave? Prophet (s.a.w) then replied, recite Surat Al-Mulk.

      16.  How will I remain a wealthy person in this world? Prophet (s.a.w) then replied, every night Recite Surat Al-Wāqi`ah.
